African Artists' Paintings for sale
WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR ARTISTS
In Africa, poverty is overcome in the community’s relationships and underlying culture. Â
I was born and raised in Kenya, East Africa for 25 years. I know what poverty looks like and how it can take its toll on the human soul.
What we are doing about this here at True African Art is special. The past two years during Covid, we were able to fund over $50,000 worth of art from over 25 of our active artists chosen out of need, honesty, and talent.
We know the choices online when it comes to shopping for art. If you’re on the fence because of a price or who we are, please see the links below. We are legit, authentic, original, and True.
Many thanks,
Gathinja Yamokoski, Website Owner

Why Choose Us?
We follow Fair Trade Principles with you and our artists, allowing us to advertise lower prices than most galleries.
For too long, African Artists' paintings have been exploited. As Africans ourselves, we are here to change this.
We live in a time where freedom, justice, and equality are abused in some parts of the world, including the United States of America. Considering Africans' 400 year history in the USA, this is not surprising to us. Â
To counter this ignorance, we hold an all African staff and deal directly with African artists born and raised in the Motherland. We buy their artwork at fair prices that the artists determine with us. We pay them well, in full, and on time.
Consequentially, we have sold thousands of original paintings for over 100 African Artists in 13 African countries since 2009. Â This tangible method of encouragement brings to the artist's life the real value of freedom, justice, and equality. Â Read some of their testimonies below.
