Charles Levison, born in 1991, is a highly acclaimed impressionistic fine artist from Malawi, known for his oil and acrylic landscapes inspired by his childhood in Mangochi along Lake Malawi.
Charles pursued art at the Nthilo School of Art from 2012-2017. Now, he teaches Art to children at a Private School in Lilongwe, Malawi’s Capital City. His first public exhibition in 2016 at the Jacaranda Cultural Center received widespread acclaim.
Art takes Charles to be a filmmaker in Malawi as well. He thus serves as Vice General Secretary for the Film Association of Malawi and General Secretary for the Visual Arts Association of Malawi.
