We strive for your African art purchases to surpass your expectations. Since 2004, we’ve shipped thousands of paintings globally with fewer than 1% returns. This policy caters to that 1%. Our return process is straightforward and favors you.

Experience any original painting* in your home for up to 60 days. If it doesn't suit, return it for an exchange, credit, or refund.

• Contact us before returning any painting.
• If you simply do not find a fit for your art in your home, your returned artwork must be received back in its original condition.
• If packaging is damaged in transit, inspect the art first. If the art is damaged, send photos and a description of the condition upon receiving.
• Complimentary shipping is one-way to you. Shipping fees are non-refundable per Shopify’s Terms and Conditions.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method after receiving the artwork, taking up to five days.

• Consignment pieces are shipped directly from the artist in Africa with complimentary worldwide shipping, or are with us in New York, with payment to the artist upon sale.
• Delivery typically takes about 1 week, via DHL or UPS.
• Returns must be made within 5 days after receiving since artists are paid only after your satisfaction is confirmed.

• Prints from AfricanArtPaintings.com offer a 30-day money-back guarantee through Fine Art America / Pixels, our host for Prints.
• * Prints not made on demand and in True African Art’s possession, are not returnable: Abdul Badi, Blue Rhino Maps, or Chris Robitaille Maps.
