The Batiks you see below are a fabric collage to create wildlife animal figures. Steve uses pieces of fabric found in Africa to make colorful, attractive, abstract wildlife.
The medium you see for the black and white paintings are Pen washed with Watercolors, a technique made popular by the Chinese. Steve used Permanent Black Indian Ink on 185 grams watercolor paper with Windsor and Newton Watercolors.
